LUCKNOW, July 7 -- Following the release of a large volume of water from the Banbasa Barrage on June 28, severe waterlogging has been reported in Palia Kalan and surrounding areas of Lakhimpur Kheri district, said Railways. "The inundation has raised concerns over the safety of the Bhira-Palia railway track, particularly the stability of the nearby "Railway Bank," read a Railway press note. "Leakage under the Railway Bank due to floodwaters is a serious concern and poses a potential risk to rail operations.
