Lucknow, Feb. 25 -- People wishing to enroll as voters under the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) 2026 process must submit a declaration form along with Form 6, said Navdeep Rinwa, chief electoral officer (CEO) of Uttar Pradesh, on Tuesday. Form 6 must include the applicant's name, correct address, a recent clear photograph and a current mobile number. This will help ensure an error-free Voter Photo Identity Card and smooth identification at polling stations during upcoming elections, he added. Form 6 is available online on the Election Commission of India's portal, voters.eci.gov.in, and the ECINET app. Completed forms can also be submitted to booth level officers. He warned that photos that are blurred, unclear, or do not meet EC standards will be rejected. Applicants must submit a digital color photograph in JPEG format, with a maximum size of 2 MB. The photo should show a close-up of the head and upper shoulders, with the face occupying 75% of the photo's length. htc...
