Rashtriya Lok Dal plans youth, women engagement in Lko
Lucknow, Dec. 13 -- The Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) held a review meeting at the party's state office on Thursday to assess the status of organisational expansion in Lucknow's urban body units. The meeting was chaired by Anupam Mishra, in-charge of the Urban Body Committee and national secretary. State media in-charge Mayank Trivedi attended as a special invitee. District president Satyaprakash Tiwari and city president Sartaj Malik were also present.
Addressing the meeting, Anupam Mishra said strengthening the organisation in the Lucknow urban body is a collective task. He said the party aims to establish activity in every ward, locality and booth. According to him, workers need to remain in contact with residents and raise public issues through the party platform.
Mishra said the party will prepare specific strategies to engage youth, women and traders in the city. He asked office-bearers to coordinate their efforts to build a functional team at the urban body level. He said the target is to increase the party's role in city politics through organisational expansion and increased participation. State media in-charge Mayank Trivedi said the media cell is working to communicate the party's policies to the public.
