Rajnath, Yogi to attend second anniversary of consecration of Ram temple
Ayodhya, Dec. 14 -- Defence minister Rajnath Singh and chief minister Yogi Adityanath will be the chief guests at the Pratishtha Dwadashi event of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, scheduled for December 31, sources in the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust said.
The Pratishtha Dwadashi will mark the second anniversary of the consecration ceremony of the Ram temple. A meeting of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust concluded at Maniram Das Chhavni, in Ayodhya, on Saturday, under the chairmanship of Trust president Mahant Nritya Gopal Das, during which key decisions were taken for the Dwadash Pratishtha event scheduled for December 31.
The temple trust has decided that five-day religious rituals will be held from December 27 to 31, all to be conducted by Jagatguru Madhvacharya. A musical Ram Katha will accompany the ceremonies throughout the five days. Bhajan singer Anoop Jalota will perform bhajans in praise of Ram Lalla, while singer Suresh Wadekar and bhajan singer Tripti Shakya will also take part in the devotional programme, Trust sources said....
