Rajasthan bags highest honours, UPearns 'A' grades in key activities
LUCKNOW, Dec. 1 -- The diamond jubilee celebrations of Bharat Scouts and Guides at the 19th National Jamboree in Lucknow concluded with a prize distribution ceremony on Sunday.
Uttar Pradesh's Scout and Guide teams earned 'A' grades in several key activities, including state exhibition, band, ethnic fashion show, pageant show, rangoli, camp craft, state gate, pioneering project, food plaza, colour party, camp fire, and physical display.
The outstanding performances of various states were acknowledged as Rajasthan achieved the highest honours (Chief Commissioner's Flag) in both Scout and Guide wings, and the 'Chief National Commissioner's Overall Performance Award' in the overall national competition.
The national leadership, judging panel, international delegates, and officials from various states lauded UP's arrangements, stating that it was one of the most successful and unique events based on its discipline, security, innovation, hospitality, and cultural integration. Participants echoed the same sentiment, stating that the environment created by Uttar Pradesh was positive, safe, and inspiring.
The Jamboree was declared a "golden chapter" in history, establishing UP's organisational capabilities, leadership, and dedication as a nationally recognised host state, officials said.
