Jaipur, Feb. 4 -- The Rajasthan State Election Commission and the Madhya Pradesh State Election Commission signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at the Secretariat on Tuesday. The MoU is an extension of a previous agreement between the two commissions regarding the availability and use of Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs). State Election Commissioner Rajeshwar Singh said that under this MoU, the Madhya Pradesh poll body will provide Rajasthan with a total of 30,000 control units and 60,000 ballot units on rent for the local body elections. "All terms related to the supply, use, maintenance, security, and return of the EVMs will be implemented in accordance with the guidelines of the Election Commission of India," Singh added....
