LUCKNOW, Dec. 17 -- The Modern Coach Factory (Rail Dibba Karkhana (REDICA)) at Rae Bareli on December 15 rolled out its 15,000th railway coach during the current financial year 2025-26, railway officials said on Tuesday. "Of the total 15,000 coaches produced, around 7,000 are air-conditioned and 8,000 non-air-conditioned. These include a wide range of coach types such as Humsafar, Tejas, Antyodaya, Deendayalu, Bharat Gaurav, brake vans, parcel vans, track recording cars, AC economy coaches, MEMU and DEMU coaches, as well as locomotive-hauled coaches manufactured for export to Mozambique," said R.N. Tiwari, chief public relations officer. "The factory has produced 1,310 coaches so far in the ongoing financial year.
