LUCKNOW, May 17 -- The public relations officer (PRO) of director general of police (DGP) among 48 senior Provincial Police Service (PPS) officers, who were posted at the same place for a long period, were reshuffled on Friday. Additional superintendent of police (ASP), Rahul Srivastava, who was attached to DGP headquarters while remaining under suspension since February 3, 2024, has been reposted as DGP PRO. ASP South, Barabanki, Akhilesh Narain Singh, has been attached to DGP headquarters while ASP additional deputy commissioner of police (ADCP), Kanpur, Rajesh Srivastava, has been made the new ASP, South, Sambhal district, ASP Amethi, Harendra Kumar, who has been made ASP, West, Ambedkar Nagar, will replace Vishal Pandey, who has been transferred as ASP, crime, Muzaffarnagar. Two more ADCPs of Kanpur police commissionerate, Manish Chandra Sonkar and Manoj Kumar Pandey have been shifted as ASP, crime, Bareilly and ASP, Varanasi police commissionerate.
