LUCKNOW, Nov. 14 -- A python spotted in Dilkusha was safely rescued and released into a forest area on Thursday. "It measured around 8 to 10 feet in length and was released into the forest after obtaining permission from the Principal Chief Conservator of Forest (Wildlife)," said Aditi Sharma, Director of the Lucknow Zoo. The rescue operation was carried out by Devyani, a female keeper from the zoo's serpentarium team. The python was first moved to a secure location, where it was examined for any injuries, and later released into its natural habitat in a forest area.
