MEERUT, June 17 -- Thousands of farmers from different villages have begun a march against the three contentious farm laws from Bulandshahr which will conclude at the Ghazipur border, in Delhi, on Friday.

The march began on Monday from three destinations: Mastram Ganga Ghat at Anupshahar, Khurja and Syana of Bulandshahr district. On Tuesday night, the farmers reached Bulandshahr and gathered under the statue of former prime minister Charan Singh at Bhoor crossing.

The 'padyatra' resumed on Wednesday morning, led by Guddu Pradhan, former district president of BKU in Bulandshahr and reached Sikandrabad town by the evening.
