New Delhi, Feb. 20 -- The Supreme Court on Thursday closed proceedings against the release of the contentious Netflix film earlier titled "Ghooskhor Pandat" after its producer, Neeraj Pandey, filed an affidavit undertaking that the future title would not be "similar to, or evocative of" the withdrawn name and would accurately reflect the narrative and intent of the film without giving rise to unintended interpretations. Taking note of the affidavit, a bench of justices BV Nagarathna and Ujjal Bhuyan disposed of the petition. It bench also appealed for an end to the controversy.
