Lucknow, May 12 -- Procurement in public health is no longer just a logistical task but a crucial factor influencing the quality, accessibility, and efficiency of healthcare services. This was the consensus among experts from hospital administration departments across Uttar Pradesh during a national seminar held at SGPGIMS on Sunday to mark the department's 17th foundation day. Held at the C.V. Raman Auditorium, the seminar-titled "Best Procurement Practices in Government Health Organizations: An Update"-was supported by the Government e-Marketplace (GeM), UP Medical Supplies Corporation Ltd.
