GORAKHPUR, June 26 -- President Droupadi Murmu will be visiting Gorakhpur on a two-day official tour starting June 30, district magistrate Krishna Karunesh has confirmed. The President will grace the first convocation ceremony of AIIMS Gorakhpur, address the gathering and present medals to meritorious MBBS students on June 30. She will stay at the Circuit House. On July 1, President Murmu will inaugurate Uttar Pradesh's first AYUSH University at Pipri, Bhathat. Later, she will visit Mahayogi Gorakhnath University to inaugurate an auditorium, academic building, and Panchakarma centre, and lay the foundation stone for a girls' hostel.
