LUCKNOW, Dec. 14 -- Stating that digital and modern techniques help improve working, director, information, UP, Vishal Singh asked the officials to make their role more effective, ensure uniformity in departmental functioning, and disseminate the state government's welfare schemes and achievements to the public in a more effective manner. He was addressing a workshop for officials and staff of the information department from across the state. Singh said the information department is a strong bridge of trust between the government and the public. "Disseminating the government's policies, schemes, and development works to the public in a simple, clear, factual, and timely manner is the top priority of the information department," Singh added. He said continuously monitoring negative and misleading news and providing effective and balanced responses based on facts is an essential requirement in today's times. "The information department needs to further strengthen its energy, confidence, and leadership role. All officers should work with dedication in their respective districts, effectively presenting the government's development works and public welfare schemes to the people," he said.
