Preparations in final phase for CM's Prayagraj visit on Nov 22
PRAYAGRAJ, Nov. 21 -- Preparations have intensified for chief minister Yogi Adityanath's proposed visit to Prayagraj on Saturday.
Senior officials, including divisional commissioner Saumya Agarwal, district magistrate Manish Kumar Verma, and senior police personnel, conducted an extensive inspection of the entire Mela area on Thursday.
Although officials were reluctant to formally comment on the visit as the official schedule is yet to be released, the chief minister is tentatively expected to arrive in Prayagraj on Saturday and perform Ganga pujan at the Sangam Nose. After the ritual, he will travel by motorboat to the VIP Ghat and then proceed to the Hanuman Temple for darshan. He is also scheduled to visit the Prayagraj Mela Authority office to review preparations for the upcoming Magh Mela-2026.
