PRAYAGRAJ, Nov. 15 -- Prayagraj is set to make a strong mark at the 19th National Jamboree of The Bharat Scouts and Guides. The district is sending an impressive delegation of 135 scouts and guides, along with 75 scout masters, 12 guides, 8 captains, and 75 girl participants, all set to showcase the cultural heritage of the Sangam city, officials said. District secretary PP Singh emphasised that Prayagraj's presentations will offer visitors an authentic glimpse into the region's culture and traditions. The team has been tasked with significant responsibilities, including constructing the Mandal Gate, curating a Mahakumbh-themed exhibition, demonstrating camp craft, managing a food plaza, and staging a vibrant pageant show. A spotlight feature from the district will be Skill-o-Rama, a performance centered on mental aptitude and practical skills, he shared. Adding to its distinction, Prayagraj has secured the top position in Uttar Pradesh in fee collection for The Bharat Scouts and Guides, recording Rs.3.82 lakh-the highest among all districts.
