Police probe possible link to local gang of thieves
LUCKNOW, June 5 -- The post-mortem examination reports of the five stray dogs in Rajajipuram have confirmed the presence of poison in the carcasses, police officials said on Wednesday. According to SHO, Talkatora, Kuldeep Dubey, "The post-mortem report confirmed that the dogs were poisoned. Viscera samples have been preserved for further forensic examination."
"An FIR has been registered against unidentified persons under Section 325 of the BNS for animal cruelty, and Section 11 of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, based on a complaint filed by animal welfare activist Gaurav Juneja," said SHO....
