PRAYAGRAJ, Feb. 11 -- Police on Tuesday arrested two more members of an organised gang involved in the illegal extraction of a minor girl's ova at an IVF centre using forged documents. The arrested accused-a woman and her son-are relatives of the centre's female agent, who was earlier sent to jail. The case came to light after a Shantipuram resident lodged a complaint alleging that her 15-year-old daughter was lured to an IVF centre on February 2, where her ova were illegally extracted. The investigation revealed that the gang had created a fake Aadhaar card portraying the minor as an adult and married, thereby facilitating the procedure.
