Varanasi, Aug. 1 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lay the foundation stone for 38 development projects, including the widening of Dal Mandi Lane and a 50-bed hospital in Sewapuri and inaugurate 14 completed projects during his 51st visit to Kashi on August 2. Kashi region BJP President Dilip Patel shared details of the visit during a press conference on Thursday. He informed that the Prime Minister will also release the next installment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana from Kashi. On this occasion, approximately 9.7 crore farmers across India will receive the payment. Patel said that PM Modi is expected to arrive at Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport before noon and will proceed to Banauli in Kalikadham (Sewapuri Assembly constituency), where he will address a public meeting. Around 50,000 people are expected to attend the rally. "The enthusiasm among villagers is overwhelming," said Patel. "When we went to invite them, their excitement over the Prime Minister visiting their area was clearly visible." Among the major development works to be launched are Widening of Dal Mandi Lane; second phase of underground power cabling in the old city; Smart City initiatives, including upgrades to street lighting, drainage, and drinking water systems; construction of rural and link roads; and expansion of primary healthcare facilities in rural areas....
