PM Modi to flag off Vande Bharat Express from Vns on Nov 8
VARANASI, Nov. 3 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to arrive in Varanasi on November 7, and on the following morning, November 8, he will flag off the Vande Bharat Express train running between Kashi and Khajuraho, said Kashi Region BJP president Dilip Singh Patel.
Patel added that the Prime Minister will land at Lal Bahadur Shastri Airport, Babatpur, on the evening of November 7 for his two-day visit. From there, he will proceed to the BLW Guest House. On the same day, PM Modi is expected to hold meetings with senior BJP leaders and prominent figures of Kashi.
On November 8, in the morning, he will flag off the Vande Bharat train from Varanasi Railway Station (Maduwadih) to Khajuraho, after which he will leave for Bihar to address an election rally, Patel said.
Preparations for a grand welcome for the Prime Minister are already underway, according to Patel.
Officials stated that the Vande Bharat Express will run six days a week. Train No. 26422 will depart Varanasi at 5:25 am and reach Khajuraho at 1:10 pm, passing through Vindhyachal, Prayagraj Chheoki, Chitrakoot Dham, Banda and Mahoba. The return journey, Train No. 26421, will leave Khajuraho at 3:20 pm and arrive in Varanasi at 11 pm.
The administration has begun preparations for the Prime Minister's visit, focusing on station and road cleanliness. Faulty fans and bulbs are being replaced at Varanasi Railway Station, walls are being repainted, and slogans are being refreshed.
In view of the visit, a team of administrative officials reviewed security arrangements on Sunday. District magistrate Satyendra Kumar, police commissioner Mohit Agarwal, DIG Shivhari Meena, DRM Ashish Jain, DCP Varuna Pramod Kumar, and other officials inspected the station....
