Varanasi, Dec. 3 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended his best wishes for the fourth edition of the Kashi Tamil Sangamam, which began on Tuesday. Modi said the vibrant event further strengthens the spirit of "Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat." In a message on social media, he wrote: "As the Kashi Tamil Sangamam begins today, I convey my best wishes for this vibrant programme which deepens the spirit of 'Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat.' I wish everyone coming for the Sangamam a pleasant and memorable stay in Kashi! A youth on Tuesday breached the security cordon and reached near the main dais at the Kashi Tamil Sangamam 4.0 inaugural ceremony at Namo Ghat on Tuesday evening, where chief minister Yogi Adityanath and other dignitaries were present. Security personnel immediately apprehended him and took him away. Assistant commissioner of police Vidush Saxena said the youth has been identified as Joginder Gupta. Initial questioning revealed that he is mentally unstable and undergoing treatment. His family members also confirmed that he is often under the influence of alcohol. The ACP said information about Joginder was obtained from his brother. The youth is currently being questioned, and necessary legal action is being taken....
