Play 'Ghar ka na ghat ka' leaves audience in splits
Lucknow, Nov. 28 -- A comedy play 'Ghar ka na ghat ka' was staged by Akanksha Theatre Arts group at the International Buddha Research Institute on Thursday. Directed by senior theatre director Achala Bose, the play kept the audience in splits throughout the performance.
The story revolved around a man - Aman, who, under familial pressure, marries for the second time with the written consent of his wife, Rama. After the arrival of Aman's second wife - Priya, the household plunges into a series of humorous conflicts, which eventually escalate to the court. The plot takes amusing turns when the court orders that both wives be given equal time, leading the story to a joyful and laughter-filled conclusion. Arun Kumar Vishwakarma, Muskan Soni and Zara Hayat played the prominent roles of Aman, Rama and Priya respectively. htc...
