Plan to develop 17-km Yamuna Nature Trail

It aims to promote eco-tourism, support environmental conservation, and provide pilgrims and tourists with a peaceful, accessible walking route along the sacred river.
In a recent review meeting with the Chief Minister, officials shared that the pathway would highlight the scenic stretch between Vrindavan and Gokul. The route will include fencing, lighting, and toilet facilities to ensure comfort and safety for tourists and residents alike.
This initiative is part of a larger development push comprising 195 projects worth Rs.30,080 crore under Mathura Vision 2030, of which 23 projects totalling Rs.2,300 crore have already been approved.
Once completed, the nature walk will offer a serene and green experience of Lord Krishna's land on foot, while also serving as a health-friendly space for morning and evening walks for locals....
