MEERUT, Nov. 24 -- Universities and degree colleges here resumed physical classes on Monday after almost eight months of closure because of Covid-19 outbreak albeit with half of their capacity.

University and college administrations ensured proper sanitisation of classes and students were directed to wear mask and maintain social distancing in classes as well as in hostels and mess.

Media incharge of CCS University Mitendra Kumar said adequate arrangement of sanitisation had been made in departments and other places where students frequently visit.
