LUCKNOW, Jan. 1 -- Police personnel from PGI police station donated blood to save the life of a Class 9 student critically injured in a road accident, even as investigators concluded that the incident was a case of accident and ruled out any foul play as alleged by the family. The injured girl, Mansi, is undergoing treatment at the Apex Trauma Centre, SGPGI. With doctors seeking an urgent transfusion, PGI station house officer Dhirendra Kumar Singh and constable Shivam rushed to the hospital and donated two units of blood. The girl was found critically injured and soaked in blood. She had gone out on X-mas and was riding a pillion when the accident took place.
