Srinagar, Oct. 24 -- The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Thursday announced that it would back the ruling National Conference (NC) in the elections to four Rajya Sabha seats from Jammu & Kashmir, which is set to take place on Friday. "We have decided to give support to the NC and vote for their candidates," PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti said at a press conference. "We will vote keeping in mind that we have to stop the fascist and communal forces at any cost," she said. "Today, when it is a part of the INDIA bloc, it (NC) kept Congress away from the Rajya Sabha.
