LUCKNOW, Dec. 3 -- Uttar Pradesh social welfare department is launching a free coaching programme for SC, ST and OBC male candidates who have passed the PCS prelims-2025 to prepare for the main exam. Coaching sessions will be conducted at Chhatrapati Shahuji Maharaj Research and Training Institute, Bhagidari Bhawan, in Gomti Nagar. Anand Kumar Singh, joint director, social welfare, said: "This facility is available only to male candidates. Under this, candidates from SC/ST, and OBC, whose family annual income does not exceed Rs.6 lakh and who have passed the UPPCS Preliminary Exam-2025, will be admitted to the coaching programme through lateral entry. Copies of the preliminary examination, caste, income and educational certificates must be submitted at the time of application.
