Pathak leads padyatra honouring Sardar Patel in Agra
Agra, Nov. 20 -- Deputy chief minister Brajesh Pathak on Wednesday hailed former Union home minister Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel as the "true symbol of national integration" during an event marking his 150th birth anniversary year. Pathak, the chief guest, led a padyatra from the statue of Sardar Bhagat Singh at Noori Darwaza in old Agra, accompanied by higher education minister and Agra South MLA Yogendra Upadhyay.
NCC cadets, students and local residents joined the march. Addressing the gathering, Pathak said Patel's message of unity remains inspirational. Upadhyay added that Patel's unification of 562 princely states shaped modern India....
