PRAYAGRAJ, Nov. 9 -- In a 'hate crime' case, a man and his wife allegedly killed their only teenage daughter in the Sangam city recently as they confessed during interrogation after their arrest on Saturday that their daughter's interactions with several boys prompted them to kill her, police said. "During interrogation, the father revealed the full sequence of events. Investigation confirms that the parents were responsible for the murder," said DCP (Trans Yamuna) Vivek Chandra Yadav. The crime was committed on November 5 night, confirmed the post-mortem report of the deceased. The ghastly incident occurred at Kanti village under Ghoorpur police station area of Prayagraj. Police said the parents first gave their daughter sleeping pills in her food and then took her about 100 metres from their home where her father allegedly slit her throat with a knife. The 15-year-old girl's body was found behind bushes near the deceased's house on Thursday morning. The parents had initially claimed that she left the house around 5:30 am to answer nature's call....
