New Delhi, July 4 -- Several Pakistani YouTube channels and Instagram accounts, blocked by the Indian government after the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack, briefly became accessible to users in India on Wednesday due to a "technical error", officials aware of the matter said, adding that these were restricted again. Instagram profiles of Pakistani celebrities including Saba Qamar, Mawra Hocane, Ahad Raza Mir, Hania Amir, Yumna Zaidi, and Danish Taimoor became accessible to Indian users on July 2, but access was restricted again by Thursday morning, the officials cited above said. The message on these Instagram profiles thereafter read: "Account not available in India. This is because we complied with a legal request to restrict this content." "The temporary visibility was the result of a technical error that inadvertently lifted the restrictions. Access to them would be once again restricted," the officials cited above said. Till late afternoon on Thursday, YouTube channels such as ARY Digital HD and Har Pal Geo along with the channels of former Pakistan cricketers like Shahid Afridi, Shoaib Akhtar, and Rashid Latif were accessible in India. However, by evening, these too had been re-blocked by the Indian government.
