VARANASI, Dec. 19 -- A paddle boat collided with a hydrogen-powered vessel in the Ganga near Dashashwamedh Ghat, in Varanasi, on Tuesday, causing slight damage to it, officials said. After the incident, the vessel was anchored at Rajghat and repairs carried out. Sanjeev Sharma, director, Inland Waterways Authority of India (IWAI), Varanasi, confirmed the incident and said the collision occurred near Dashashwamedh Ghat around 3 pm on Tuesday. He added that the vessel's outer cover was damaged and a sensor stopped functioning.
