LUCKNOW, Aug. 8 -- Chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday directed all his ministers to oversee the flood control measures and arrangements for relief in flood-hit districts. He asked them to ensure that no untoward situation developed anywhere. The CM has already deployed a team of 11 ministers to visit the flood-affected areas. Yogi gave these directions at a meeting of the council of ministers that he convened soon after the state cabinet meeting at the Lok Bhawan here. "Yes, the CM has asked all the ministers to take care of the flood affected areas and ensure that people get food and clean water there. Arrangements for fodder should also be made," said a senior minister. He asked the ministers to get a vision document ready for their respective departments on the pattern of India Vision 2047 also called Viksit Bharat 2047, an initiative of PM Narendra Modi to transform India. A minister said the CM wants at least 5 crore people to get ready to carry out online transactions through Quick Response (QR) codes.
