Over a dozen villagers hurt in Manda jackal attacks
PRAYAGRAJ, July 2 -- Eighteen villagers were attacked and injured by jackal(s) while they were sleeping in their houses in various hamlets under the Giradharpur Gram Panchayat area, under the trans-Yamuna Manda police station of the district, late on Monday night. The injured hailed from localities including Lathihan Pal Basti, Giradharpur Muslim Basti, and other nearby settlements.
Among the injured are: Izrail (22), Ajay Kumar (5), Rajendra Prasad (28), Meraj Ali (25), Snehlata (21), Nirmala Devi (55), Irfan Ali (29), Jitendra Kumar (30), Mehdi Hasan (65), Saniya (30), and Pappu (35), among others....
