Over 26 cr devotees visit Shri Kashi Vishwanath Dham in 4 years
Varanasi, Dec. 5 -- Since its inauguration on December 13, 2021, Shri Kashi Vishwanath Dham in Varanasi has welcomed around 26 crore devotees, officials said.
Vishwa Bhushan Mishra, chief executive officer of the Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple Trust, said that excellent arrangements have been made for the convenience of visitors.
Facilities include German hangers for protection from rain and sun, mats to protect feet from heat in summer, coolers, drinking water, free wheelchairs for the elderly and disabled during the monsoon, golf carts, canopies, medical facilities, and ORS.
These arrangements have made it easier for devotees to reach Baba's sanctum comfortably. The Dham will complete four years on December 13. By December 2, over 262,356,000 devotees (26 crore)had visited the temple. On average, more than 6.5 crore devotees visit annually.
