Over 1,000 students join art workshop on 'Developed India'
LUCKNOW, Sept. 18 -- The Lalit Kala Akademi Regional Centre on Wednesday organised a one-day painting workshop titled 'Viksit Bharat ke Rang Kala ke Sang' at the faculty of architecture and planning, Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University. Finance minister Suresh Khanna inaugurated the event as the chief guest.
Participants painted on the theme 'Developed India', depicting the country's potential and future. Subjects included digital revolution, UPI, Aadhaar, ISRO's Chandrayaan-3 and Aditya-L1 missions, and Make in India.
Hundreds of independent artists and students from leading institutions, including College of Arts and Crafts, Dr Shakuntala Mishra National Rehabilitation University, Banaras Hindu University, Chhatrapati Shahuji Maharaj University, Allahabad University, Goyal Institute, Techno Institute, and Navyug Kanya Mahavidyalaya, joined the workshop. More than 1,000 school students from Kendriya Vidyalaya Aliganj, Ramadheen Inter College, Vaniprada Vidyalaya, Vetna Sansthan, CMS Aliganj, and Rajkumar Academy also participated.
