Lucknow, Jan. 20 -- The Unaided Private Schools Association ( UPSA) requested basic education minister Satish Chand Dwivedi on Tuesday to allow educational institutions to start offline classes for students of Classes 1 to 8 without delay because online education could not be a substitute for classroom teaching. A delegation of the association handed over a memorandum to Dwivedi, saying that the government had allowed schools to start classes from 9 to 12 following all Covid protocols, similarly classes from 1 to 8 should also be allowed at the earliest.
