PRAYAGRAJ, Nov. 28 -- Aban Ahmed, the youngest son of slain gangster-politician Atiq Ahmed, has been booked in a criminal case after a provocative reel of his went viral on social media The FIR, filed under sections 352 (intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of peace) and 353 (2) (statement that promotes public mischief by creating enmity, or ill will between different groups) of the BNS, against Aban, Instagram user Hazam and unidentified individuals was registered at the Dhoomanganj police station here on Thursday. The authenticity of the video, however, remains unverified In the said 30-second video, Aban can be seen attending a wedding with a voiceover making a provocative statement. Meanwhile, the Prayagraj commissionerate police, taking cognisance of the viral video, initiated an investigation. DCP (city) Manish Kumar Shandilya said, "An FIR has been registered, and an investigation has been ordered. Other youths involved in the video are also being identified."
