North Central Railway adds 20 new trains from Jan 1
Prayagraj, Dec. 27 -- North Central Railway (NCR) has announced a new train timetable, which will come into effect from January 1, 2026. Officials said the changes will affect train timings, halts, numbers, and operations.
The updated schedule includes 20 new pairs of trains, while 11 pairs of existing trains have been extended. One pair of trains will run more frequently, and the numbers of 30 trains have been changed.
The timetable also introduces nine pairs of special trains, increases halt duration for five trains, provides experimental halts for 48 trains, and changes timing for 54 trains. The speed of seven trains will be increased, and nine pairs of trains will now have LHB coaches.
