LUCKNOW, Oct. 28 -- The Noida International Airport in Jewar is set to become India's most technologically advanced airport, featuring a fully integrated digital infrastructure supported by two independent data centres. State government officials said the airport will operate on a dual-fibre-optic network to ensure uninterrupted and secure data connectivity. According to officials, three major digital control hubs have been developed. and centre, monitoring and managing all airport activities in real time. The Security Operations Control Centre (SOCC) will maintain constant surveillance over airport security systems, while the Airport Emergency Operations Centre (AEOC) will ensure swift response to any emergencies. Soon to be operational, the entire airport infrastructure will be connected through an integrated digital network, linking terminal operations, runway management, parking, and security. A high-tech video surveillance system will cover every corner of the campus. Cameras with license plate recognition and driver imaging features will be installed at entry and exit points to track vehicles and enhance safety. Designed for complete digital coverage, the Jewar airport will provide seamless wireless network access throughout its premises, including runways and remote stands. Passengers and staff will have access to smart digital systems offering real-time information and connectivity. Officials said the airport is being developed as a future-ready, technology-driven facility capable of supporting AI-based security and automated operations.
