Lucknow, Dec. 27 -- Uttar Pradesh Housing and Development Council (UPHDC) has approved enhanced incentives under the First Come, First Serve scheme for the disposal of unsold flats, as per a note. The move aims to ease home ownership for soldiers facing constraints due to long deployments and limited leave.
As such, personnel of the armed and paramilitary forces will be eligible for a 20% discount on full payment within 60 days, 15% discount for payment within 61-90 days and 10% discount for payment within 91-120 days.
The decision was taken at the Council's 274th Board of Directors meeting, which was chaired by P Guru Prasad, chairman of UPHDC and principal secretary, Housing and Urban Planning Department.
Also, the Board approved the grant of 58% dearness allowance to Council employees, pensioners and family pensioners with effect from July 1, 2025....
