Nishad and other BJP leaders meet family of deceased
VARANASI, July 5 -- UP minister and Nishad Party chief Sanjay Nishad, BJP MP Vinod Bind and Rajya Sabha MP Sangita Balwant on Friday visited the house of the MSc student Anita Bind in Mehandiganj who was found murdered in a dhaba in Roopapur under Mirzamurad police station area of Varanasi on Wednesday.
They consoled the family members of the deceased.
The accused in the case Sahab Bind was arrested from Bhadohi on Thursday.
The minister directed the officials to ensure strict action against the accused. He has given clear instructions to the concerned DCP, SDM, and Deputy Director of Fisheries Department that government assistance should be provided to the victim's family as soon as possible. He also directed the officials that action should be taken with complete transparency and sensitivity, so that the victim's family gets both justice and help in a timely manner.
The Vidhan Basera Dhaba Rupapur, where the woman was found murdered on Wednesday, has been sealed in view of ongoing investigation by police. The action has been taken to ensure that the evidence remains safe and the investigation process goes smoothly, said police in a statement.
Also, a campaign will be launched against all illegally operated dhabas and action will be taken against them, added the police.
A joint team of administration and police officials inspected the dhaba and checked the documents related to validity of licences required for hotel operation, land ownership and use, compliance with food safety standards and legality of building structure and fire safety measures, said officials.
A detailed report is being prepared on the basis of inspection in which all documents will be verified, added the statement....
