LUCKNOW, April 3 -- The National Green Tribunal (NGT) in New Delhi on Thursday addressed concerns regarding alleged construction within the floodplain zone of the Yamuna in Prayagraj. The issue came for hearing through the petition of Ankit Tiwari, a local of Prayagraj. The applicant has alleged that construction activities are being carried out within the ecologically sensitive floodplain area of the river.
