Prayagraj, July 23 -- The Indian Institute of Information Technology Allahabad (IIIT-A) has partnered with Software Technology Parks of India (STPI) and its subsidiary STPINEXT Initiatives to establish a Centre of Entrepreneurship (CoE) in Assistive Technology in Prayagraj. The initiative aims to foster an ecosystem for startups and innovators working on technologies that support people with disabilities, the elderly, and those with special needs. The CoE will focus on research, mentorship, funding, testing, and go-to-market strategies. IIIT-A will provide academic and technical guidance, while STPI and STPINEXT will contribute their expertise in IT infrastructure and startup incubation. The collaboration is expected to make Prayagraj a national hub for assistive technology innovation.
