Lucknow, Oct. 25 -- Teacher organisations from across states, including Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, have formed Teachers' Federation of India to raise their demands before the central government, said Dinesh Chandra Sharma, the president of UP Primary Teachers Association, on Friday. "Now, teachers from across the country will unite under the banner of Teachers Federation of India and raise their voice before the government," he said. "Teachers from Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Bihar, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Delhi, Chhattisgarh, and Rajasthan have formed the Federation. The national organisation has been formed under the coordination of Ram Murti Thakur, who is the general secretary of All Jharkhand Primary Teachers' Association," said Sharma.
