Nestle India Q4 profit rises 27%; local sales at record Rs.6,445 cr
New Delhi, April 22 -- Fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) major Nestle India on Tuesday reported a 27.18% rise in consolidated net profit at Rs.1,110.9 crore for March quarter of FY26, boosted by record domestic sales.
The company had posted a consolidated net profit of Rs.873.46 crore in the year-ago period, Nestle India said in a regulatory filing.
Nestle India's revenue from Sale of Products was at Rs.6,723.75 crore in the March quarter, up 23.42% year-on-year.
Revenue from operations in the fourth quarter stood at Rs.6,747.79 crore as against Rs.5,503.88 crore in the year-ago period. Total expenses were 21% higher at Rs.5,217.48 crore.
Total income, which includes other income, surged 22.73% to Rs.6,766.24 crore in March quarter.
Domestic sales rose 23.11% to Rs.6,445.07 crore in the March quarter of FY26.
"Nestle India delivered high double-digit growth and recorded its highest-ever domestic sales, at Rs.6,445 crore. This performance was powered by double-digit volume growth, driven by over 50% increase in advertising spends, whilst delivering a healthy EBITDA margin of 26.3%," chairman and MD Manish Tiwary said.
Revenue from exports climbed 31% to Rs.278.68 crore.
He said all product groups contributed to this performance, and penetration and premiumisation, combined with disciplined resource allocation and strong execution, have been key in driving growth.
In entire FY26, Nestle India's profit was at Rs.3,499.08 crore, up 9% on-year. Total income was at Rs.23,194.95 crore, up 14.46%.
Over the last five years, the company's power brands MAGGI noodles consistently maintained its leadership position in the market, while KITKAT and NESCAFÉ accelerated their market share growth, Tiwary said....
