LUCKNOW, Aug. 20 -- A woman has accused her neighbour of stealing her gold bangles after allegedly spotting them in an Instagram post, in Lucknow's Banthra area, police said. According to the FIR, the complainant said her gold bangles went missing from her house on March 7. On August 9, she allegedly saw the missing ornaments in a photo posted on Instagram by her tenant-neighbour while visiting her native village. When the woman returned on August 14, the complainant confronted her. "She claimed the bangles were artificial and avoided showing them. Later, on August 17, she said she had thrown them away," the FIR stated. The complainant further alleged that the neighbour and her husband threatened her and her spouse when questioned. She also claimed the accused wore the bangles while creating Instagram reels. A case has been registered at Banthra police station, and investigations are ongoing....
