Nat'l seminar at Lucknow Christian Degree college highlights AI and innovation
Lucknow, March 28 -- A two-day national seminar on innovation, artificial intelligence (AI) and entrepreneurship began at Lucknow Christian Degree College on Friday, bringing together academicians, researchers and students from across the country. Organised by the department of Commerce in collaboration with the Institution's Innovation Council, the seminar opened at Fairfield Hall. Participants from states such as Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Kerala and Uttarakhand presented their research work.
Chief guest Leena Johri, additional chief secretary, spoke about the importance of innovation and AI in achieving sustainable and inclusive development. She encouraged students to share ideas that support a self-reliant India and cited Amul as an example of a successful innovation-led enterprise.
Guest of honour prof Mohd Harris Siddiqui, registrar of Integral University, stressed the need for research-based learning and solving real-life problems. Dr Esha V Lal, organising secretary and head of the Commerce department, conducted the session. She said students should see change as an opportunity to innovate....
