Lucknow, Nov. 24 -- The 19th National Jamboree of Bharat Scouts and Guides opened in the state capital on Sunday, transforming the Defence Expo Ground in Vrindavan Yojana into a vibrant camp with thousands of participants from across India. The event will be formally inaugurated on Monday by governor Anandiben Patel, while chief minister Yogi Adityanath will attend the cultural evening on Tuesday. President Droupadi Murmu will be the chief guest at the valedictory session on November 28. The Diamond Jubilee edition will feature a drone show, Scouts and Guides parade, cultural performances and rehearsals already under way. Over 100 stalls - including ODOP, robotics, electronics and a Solar Pavilion - will showcase Uttar Pradesh's culture and innovation.
