AGRA, Oct. 25 -- Uttar Pradesh cabinet minister Baby Rani Maurya had a narrow escape when a truck lost its balance after a tyre burst and collided with the car ferrying the minister near 56 km milestone within Firozabad district limits on Friday night. Maurya's car, however, suffered damage in the accident. On getting information, a police force from Firozabad district reached the spot and streamlined the traffic on the Agra Lucknow Expressway, said the circle officer for Sirsaganj. A spokesperson for Maurya said the mishap occurred when the minister, along with her husband Pradeep Maurya, was en route to Lucknow through the Agra Lucknow Expressway after attending various events in Hathras district. Near the 56 km milestone, a truck ahead of the minister's car lost its balance when one of its tyres burst and collided with her car. The minister and her husband suffered a few bruises as the car driver's quick response minimised the impact of the collision and averted a tragedy....
