LUCKNOW, July 15 -- The Uttar Pradesh regional office of NABARD () celebrated the 44th Foundation Day on Monday. The event, which commemorated the International Year of Cooperatives, highlighted the critical role cooperatives play in promoting inclusive growth, a press statement read. The event was marked by the presence of cooperatives minister JPS Rathore as chief guest. In his address, the minister emphasised the cooperatives' role in inclusive development and shared that UPCB's net profit has tripled since 2017, with DCCBs business expanding to a record Rs 41,234 crore. He reaffirmed digitisation of all DCCBs through "Sahkar Sarthi".
